A shuttle service from the airport to the hotel, comprising a minibus and water boat journey, is arranged by the hotel and can be ordered by calling the hotel from the arrivals area of the airport (fees applicable). Private water taxis can also be arranged and cost around €100 for four people. The nearest train station to the hotel is Venezia Santa Lucia, four kilometres away.
Driving directions: From the airport, turn left onto state road SS14 and follow signs to Venice (Venezia). At the end of the ‘Ponte della Liberta’ (the bridge linking Venice to the mainland) there is a sign indicating ‘Tronchetto’, from where a ferry boat service to Venice Lido departs every 40 minutes. The average duration of the ferry trip to is 40 minutes. From the ferry boat arrival point, turn right onto Riviera San Nicolo and follow this onto Riviera Santa Maria Elisabetta. Turn left onto Gran Viale S.M. Elisabetta at the roundabout and continue to the end. Turn right into Lungomare Marconi and the hotel is number 41.
The easiest way to get around Venice is on foot, by vaporetto (public water bus) or water taxi.
