Jester’s Restaurant - American cuisine with a French influence is served at this fine-dining restaurant presided over by a French Master Chef. The restaurant features floor-to-ceiling velvet curtains and plush-velvet seating, hand-painted mural, and playing-card motif. Specialties may include Angus rib-eye steak in a chardonnay sauce, baked halibut, and pan-seared duck breast. Breakfast—both buffet and à la carte—lunch, and dinner are served daily. Getting around: The hotel is within walking distance of many area attractions, and the city’s public transit options are also easily accessible. The MUNI system operates electric streetcars, cable cars, trolleys, buses, and light rail throughout the city. A MUNI bus stop is located less than a block from the hotel, and a cable car stop is three blocks away. All-day and three-day MUNI passes, valid for unlimited travel and transfers, cost $5–$15.

The BART rail system provides access to much of the Bay Area, including Berkeley and Oakland, and the Montgomery Street BART Station is 1.5 blocks from the hotel. Taxis are also available.
