Millennium - Celebrated vegetarian and vegan restaurant open nightly for dinner. Getting around: Walking is a popular way of getting around town. San Francisco’s MUNI system offers routes throughout the city and includes electric streetcars, cable cars, trolleys, buses, and light rail. A variety of MUNI stops offering access to almost any needed route are within six blocks of the hotel, including a cable-car stop three blocks from the hotel and a bus stop across the street. All-day and three-day MUNI passes cost $5–$15 and are valid for unlimited travel and transfers. The BART rail system provides access to much of the Bay Area, including Berkeley and Oakland; the Powell Street BART Station is six blocks from the hotel. Taxis are also available. For travel to outlying areas, guests can rent a car for the day. Rental cars are available online.

Getting there: Taxis, airport shuttles, BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) trains, and rental cars are all popular options. From SFO, taxis cost more than $36, and shuttles are $5–$15. Airport shuttles are on the Arrivals level of the airport, above baggage claim; no reservations are required. BART operates directly from the airport to the Powell Street Station, six blocks from the hotel. From there, guests can catch a taxi or walk to the hotel.
San Francisco International Airport (SFO): Approximate driving time is 25 minutes and distance is 14 miles.

Driving directions from San Francisco International Airport: Exit the airport and take US-101 N toward San Francisco. Bear right onto I-80 E heading toward the Bay Bridge. Take the 4th St exit, and then continue onto Bryant St. Proceed one block on Bryant St. Turn left onto 3rd St and proceed about five blocks to Market St. When 3rd St crosses Market St, it veers right and becomes Kearney St. Continue on Kearney St for less than one block, and then turn left onto Geary St. Hotel is six blocks on right at corner of Geary St and Jones St.
