Take a bus from the Airport to the Salzburg Congress centre changing once. Taxis are available right outside the airport terminal and should cost approximately €12.
Driving directions: From Salzburg Airport turn right onto the Innsbrucker Bundestrasse and follow signs for the city center (Zentrum). At the first large junction turn right onto the Maxglaner Hauptsrasse, which becomes the Neutorstrasse. Continue until you see a small mountain (the Moenchsberg) and drive through the tunnel (the Neutor). Upon exiting the tunnel turn left and follow the road until reaching a bridge on the left side (Staatsbrücke). Go over the bridge and then turn left. The 3rd turning on the right is the Auerspergstrasse on which the hotel is located.
The best way to get around and see Salzburg is on foot. However, there is also an inexpensive bus and tram system, as well as a network of bike paths. Cars are banned from parts of the Old Town.
