A single ticket (BIT) costs €1, is valid for 75 minutes, and covers unlimited bus journeys and one Metro trip. The city center is easily negotiated on foot. Rome’s narrow streets and relaxed attitudes toward traffic regulations make driving in the city a challenge for even the most experienced driver.
