Getting around: Rome''s efficient integrated transportation system includes buses, trams, subway (Metro) and suburban trains. Tickets should be bought before boarding and are available from ATAC ticket machines and all tobacconists. A single ticket (BIT) costs €1, is valid for 75 minutes, and covers unlimited bus journeys and one metro trip. The historic city centre is easily negotiated on foot. Rome justifiably has a reputation as one of the most dangerous places to drive. Narrow streets, and road users’ relaxed attitudes toward traffic regulations, make it a challenge for even the most experienced driver.

Travelers can also take the metro to Eur station, from which the hotel operates a complimentary shuttle bus in the morning and afternoon (subject to availability).
