Getting around: Unless comfortable driving British-style (on the left) on narrow streets, few visitors to Nassau rent cars. Taxis are available at the hotel. Ferries (less than $5) make 10-minute trips to Paradise Island from a dock four blocks from the hotel. Ferries also operate from Nassau to Out Islands, including Harbour Island and Eleuthera.
