From the airport, the hotel offers transportation for a fee. Alternatively the bus 11 runs to center of Marrakech every half an hour although services can be unpredictable. There are taxiphones in the arrival and departure lounges and taxis can be caught near the bus stop. It is wise to agree the price before commencing the journey.
Driving directions: If driving from the airport, head towards the Koutoubia Mosque, passed the Mamounia Hotel. Take the first right and right again along the Royal Palace walls until you arrive at the end of the street where the hotel is located.
The smoothest way to travel around Marrakech is in one of the fleet of beige-colored ‘petits taxis’ for short trips, or for adventures further afield, the ‘grands taxis’, generally battered beige-colored Mercedes.
