Malaga Airport (AGP): Approximate driving time is 75 minutes and distance is 95 kilometres (59 miles).
The airport is located six kilometres west of Malaga. Trains to Malaga, Fuengirola and Torremolinos leave the airport every 30 minutes. Bus services to Malaga depart from outside the International arrivals terminal. Taxis are also readily available at the airport.
Driving directions: From airport head for Algeciras / Cadiz. Keep on this road until the signpost for Algeciras / Cadiz A7. Take this exit and continue until joining the toll road (Autopista) AP-7. Keep on the toll road as it bypasses Fuengirola, Callahonda and eventually leads back onto the A7 (N-340) at Marbella.
Continue with this road until it joins again to the second stage of the toll road (Autopista) AP-7 at which continue on the toll road which bypasses San Pedro and leads towards Estepona and back onto the A7 (N-340). At this point keep to the A7 road and not the 3rd stage of the toll road. With Estepona on the right hand side, there are many exits but continue until a long slip road forming on the right hand side directly after the exit marked Poligono and Estepona. Overhead signs show which lane to be in at this point. Keeping to the right hand side and take the slip road. Follow the slip road up the hill until reaching a roundabout.
Take the exit marked Algeciras/Cadiz and follow the road down the hill until a very large roundabout with Estepona written in large white letters. Go straight through this roundabout and keep heading towards Algeciras/Cadiz. Follow the road passing through many roundabouts and exits until coming to the town of Sabinillas which the road runs underneath through the underpass.
Once on the other side take the second exit on the right which is for the golf course and Duquesa Hotel. Continue past the hotel and down the hill and follow the road until passing large villas on the left hand side and the golf course on the right. The development right after these villas on the same left hand side is La Duquesa.
Due to the location of the residence, a hire car is recommended for accessing the area.
