Getting around: For travel along the Strip, guests have several convenient options. City buses (less than $5) run the length of the Strip; private shuttles (less than $5) serve the larger casinos. Many guests choose to walk. Taxis are readily available, and parking is complimentary at most locations. For destinations outside the Strip, a rental car is the best option.

The Las Vegas Monorail ($5) operates along the Las Vegas resort corridor connecting major resort properties and the convention center. The average speed is 16 miles per hour, or 15 minutes to complete the 4-mile run. Stations are: MGM Grand, Bally’s/Paris, Flamingo/Caesars Palace, Harrah’s/Imperial, and the Las Vegas Convention Center. The monorail operates from 7 AM to 2 AM on weekdays, 7 AM to 3 AM on weekends. Daily, multi-day, and multi-ride passes are available.

McCarran International Airport (LAS): Approximate driving time to The New Frontier is 15 minutes and distance is 5 miles.

Driving directions from McCarran International Airport: Exit the airport onto Swenson St. Turn left on E Naples Ave, then right on Paradise Rd. Turn left on Convention Center Dr, then turn right on Las Vegas Blvd S (the Strip). The hotel is on the right.

Line dancers, barbecue fans, and those brave enough to challenge a mechanical bull pack Gilley''s wood-floor saloon. Friday night bikini-bull-riding sessions are especially lively.

The Casino supplies 65,000 square feet of slots, video poker, blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, and pai gow, and includes a race and sports book offering 40 seats with individual televisions. The hotel also includes a bingo parlor.

The New Frontier Slot Club offers free membership cards that reward slot, video poker, and keno play with cash and/or comps redeemable for food and, in some cases, guestrooms.
