Driving directions from McCarran International Airport: Leave the airport via Paradise Rd northbound, and bear right to continue on Swenson St. Turn left on E Tropicana Ave. The Hotel San Remo is about 1.2 miles on the left; make a U-turn at Island Way to reach it.
Getting around: The city bus (less than $5; fees subject to change without notice) can take guests to destinations up and down the Strip. Taxis are also readily available. Depending on the amount of travel planned, some guests may prefer to rent a car. Guest parking is complimentary at the hotel, and at most locations on the Strip.
The Las Vegas Monorail ($5) operates along the Las Vegas resort corridor connecting major resort properties and the convention center. The average speed is 16 miles per hour, or 15 minutes to complete the 4-mile run. Stations are: MGM Grand, Bally’s/Paris, Flamingo/Caesars Palace, Harrah’s/Imperial, and the Las Vegas Convention Center. The monorail operates from 7 AM to 2 AM on weekdays, 7 AM to 3 AM on weekends. Daily, multi-day, and multi-ride passes are available.
