Driving directions from Honolulu International Airport: Take IH-1 eastbound. Exit at Nimitz Hwy and follow the signs toward Waikiki. Nimitz Hwy becomes Ala Moana Blvd. Continue on Ala Moana Blvd until it merges with Kalakaua Ave. Turn right onto Kalakaua Ave and stay in the right lane, as the road will split. Proceed 15 blocks and turn left onto Paoakalani Ave. Turn left onto Kuhio Ave and left again onto Ohua Ave to arrive at the hotel.
Getting around: The hotel is located in the heart of Waikiki''s shopping and dining hub, so guests have plenty to explore on foot when they''re not perusing the shops in the hotel''s ground floor mall. Public transportation is also excellent in the area, providing service both within Waikiki and to other popular destinations such as the Ala Moana Center (Hawaii''s largest mall), Hanauma Bay, and Pearl Harbor. A single ride costs less than $5, while a four-day pass costs $16–25. Prices subject to change without notice. Taxis are also abundant, and the hotel can call for service. For extensive travel around the island, the best bet is either a rental car (available online) or an organized tour.
