Honolulu International Airport (HNL): Approximate driving time is 17 minutes and distance is 10 miles.
Driving directions from Honolulu International Airport: Take IH-1 going east. Exit at Nimitz Hwy and follow signs toward Waikiki. Nimitz Hwy becomes Ala Moana Blvd. Continue on Ala Moana Blvd until it merges with Kalakaua Ave, at the entrance to Waikiki. Turn right onto Kalakaua Ave and immediately get into the left lane. When the road divides, stay in the left lane and continue on Kuhio Ave for about four blocks. The hotel is on the right.
Getting there: Shuttles and taxis are both available right outside baggage claim. Shuttles charge $5–15 per person, while taxis charge $26–35. Rental cars are another option and are available online. All fees subject to change without notice.
Getting around: Waikiki is known for its expansive beach, as well as its shops, restaurants, and nightlife, and guests can walk to all of these from the hotel. For longer trips, the hotel is located right on city bus lines that provide service to popular destinations, including Ala Moana Shopping Center, Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, Hanauma Bay, and even trips around the island. A single fare is less than $5. For guests who plan to use the system extensively, however, the four-day visitor pass can be a better value at $16–25. All fees subject to change without notice. Taxi service is also excellent and is a good choice for short trips. For more extensive travel around the island, rental cars or pre-arranged tours are the best bet. Rental cars are available online, and the hotel can provide tour assistance.
