The railway station in Paisley is two miles from the airport - a few minutes by taxi or 10 minutes by bus. There are eight trains an hour from Monday to Saturday and five trains an hour on Sundays from Paisley to Glasgow Central rail station. Taxis are available 24 hours a day from in front of the main terminal building. Shuttle buses also run to central Glasgow and take about 20 minutes.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the M8 motorway and exit at Junction 19 following signs for SECC (Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre). Proceed towards the main entrance of the SECC. City Inn Glasgow is situated on the left approximately 250 metres before the entrance to the SECC.
Bus services are frequent and reliable; tickets can be bought on board. After midnight there are night bus services around the city leaving from George Square. Taxis are also readily available.
