Frequent bus services run from the bus station adjacent to the Terminal to the central Edinburgh bus terminus at Waverley Bridge. The Edinburgh Airport City Centre bus service runs to Edinburgh centre every 10 minutes between 7 AM and 9.40 PM (Monday to Friday) and 10.10 AM and 5.30 PM at weekends. Single fares are £3.30 and open returns are £5. Taxis are also available from a taxi rank adjacent to the Terminal.

Driving directions: Take the A8 from Edinburgh Airport through Corstorphine to Haymarket Terrace, stay in the middle lane and follow signs for A8 into Edinburgh City Centre. Carry on to Shandwick Place and follow signs for A702. Frasers Department store is ahead on the left and the Rutland Hotel on the right; at this point make sure to take the right-hand lane to turn right onto Lothian Road. Once on Lothian Road get into the left-hand lane, continue straight ahead and follow signs for the A702 (passing the Sheraton Hotel on the right). At the very top of Lothian Road/Earl Grey Street, there is a large junction with three forks, with the Bank of Scotland is on the left. Take the right-hand lane into Home Street. When on Home Street get into the right-hand lane, and turn right onto Gilmore Place (the Kings Theatre will be on the left and Celeste Beauty Spa on the right). Drive for about 100 metres, passing Gilmore Place church on the left. Immediately opposite this is the right turning onto Lower Gilmore Place. From here, follow signs for the EQ-2 apartments.
