Aircoach offers a service from Dublin’s city centre to and from the airport and stops at Leeson Street, which leads to Adelaide Road. The service runs 24 hours, every day. Tickets can be purchased from the bus driver and cost approximately 10 Euros (return). Taxis are also available outside the airport terminal and fares cost around 25 Euros.
Driving directions: Drive from the airport towards the quays as far as O’Connell Street in the direction of Trinity College. Turn left around the College to Nassau Street. Once on Nassau Street take the second right into Kildare Street. Continue until the North side of St Stephen’s Green and turn into Merrion Row. Take the first right into Pembroke road and then turn right into Leeson Street. Drive back towards St Stephen''s Green and turn left into Earlsfort Terrace. At the junction at the top of Earlsfort Terrace turn right into Adelaide Road.
Dublin’s extensive bus network (green double-deckers) serves the centre and the suburbs. Taxis are expensive and can be hard to come by. Parking is scarce, but a car is a great way to get off the beaten track. The centre of Dublin is best explored on foot.
