Driving directions: From the airport, take the M1 towards the city centre. At the first set of traffic lights turn onto Collind Avenue. Drive to the T-junction intersection with Howth Road, and bear left (the Beachcomber pub is opposite). At the second set of traffic lights take a right onto Castle Avenue. The hotel is at the first roundabout on the right-hand side.

Dublin''s extensive bus network (green double-deckers) serves the centre and the suburbs. Taxis are expensive and can be hard to come by. Parking is scarce, but a car is a great way to get off the beaten track; the centre of Dublin is best explored on foot.
