Bermuda does not allow visitors to rent cars, but it runs a convenient public bus service, popular with both residents and visitors alike. Pink buses stop in front of the hotel and can whisk passengers to St George’s in about 10 minutes and to downtown Hamilton in about 25 minutes. Single fares are less than $5 but a better deal is the bus pass (one-day: $5–$15; three-days: $16–$25) which is also good for ferry travel. Public ferries leave from the terminal on Front St in Hamilton for Paget, Warwick, Dockyard, St George’s, Rockaway, and Somerset with most single fares less than $5. Fees subject to change without notice. Schedules vary according to season and day of the week. Bicycles can be rented ($5–$15 a day) although they are second in choice to more popular mopeds (more than $36 a day.) Driving is on the left side of the road. Horse-drawn carriages, a traditional travel mode in Bermuda, can be found next to the ferry terminal on Front St in Hamilton. Prices start in the $26–$35 range. Fees subject to change without notice. The hotel also offers complimentary shuttle service within the grounds of its own property.
