Cologne-Bonn Konrad Airport (CGN): Approximate driving time is 20 minutes and distance is 15 kilometres (9.5 miles).
A train runs from the airport to Cologne’s main station. Connect with the metro line 16 towards Bonn/Wesseling and get off at the Rodenkirchen/Bahnhof stop, which is 300 metres from the hotel. Taxis are also available from the arrivals terminal and a fare to the hotel will cost approximately €25.
Driving directions: From the airport take the A59 towards Cologne and exit at the Koln-Sud junction and head towards the Rheinufer. On reaching the Rhine turn right towards Rodenkirchen and after driving under the bridge take a left, then the second left on to Kirchstrasse. The next right takes you on to Karlstrasse where the hotel is located.
All transport facilities (bus, tram, tube and trains) can be used with compound tickets issued by the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (VRS). Besides these there are train-only tickets. Ticket vending machines at Cologne''s train stations issue both kinds of tickets. At tram/tube/bus stations, only compound tickets (VRS) are available.
