Driving directions: From Rennes, take the A84 North, and take exit 33 following signs to Mont Saint Michel. From Saint Malo, follow signs to Avranche, take the exit to Ducey and follow signs to Ceaux.
This region is best explored in a car as public transport is extremely limited. Mont Saint Michel is served by taxis, buses and trains, although the times of the tides restricts access via the causeway across the water.
