Driving directions from the airport: Head onto the N2 highway, staying on the right hand side of the left lane in the direction of ''City'' or ''Cape Town''. After passing the Liesbeek Parkway exit, get into the lane second from the right, following the signs to the City. Pass under two bridges and at the third bridge the road forks; follow the bend to the right to merge with the M3. The road forks again. Stay in one of the two left lanes, proceeding along De Waal Drive (not Eastern Boulevard to the right). Continue along De Waal Drive, winding around the foot of Table Mountain. Passing under an overhead walkway, slow down and just before the overhead road bridge exit left into Mill Street. Continue along Mill Street (which becomes Orange Street), passing through two sets of traffic lights. On the left-hand side you will see the landmark Prince of Wales Pillars, signifying the entrance to Mount Nelson Hotel.
