Cairo International Airport (CAI): Approximate driving time is 50 minutes and distance is 40 kilometers (25 miles).

Black and white taxis are available from the airport to central Cairo. They leave from outside the Arrivals hall. Buses are available from the airport to central Cairo. An airport bus service operates from Terminal 1 (Old Airport). Bus service 400 leaves approximately every 30 minutes during the day and every hour at night. The hotel is a 25 minute drive from Cairo center. A limo service is available through the hotel direct from the airport, and costs approximately $30.

One of the best way to explore Cairo is by the new Metro system. It is very inexpensive and not too crowded.
