Cairo International Airport (CAI): Approximate driving time is 40 minutes and distance is 24 kilometres (15 miles).

Black and white taxis are available from the airport to central Cairo. They leave from outside the Arrivals hall, and will cost around 11 USD to the hotel. An airport bus service operates from Terminal 1 (Old Airport). Bus service 400 leaves approximately every 30 minutes during the day and every hour at night.

Driving directions: From the airport take Ouruba Road, then Salah Salem Road. Drive up the Sixth of October Bridge to Abdel Moneim Riad Square, where the hotel is located.

The inexpensive metro system is one of the best ways to explore Cairo. Buses and minibuses are still the most common form of transport for Cairenes, although taxis are a better option for visitors. Boats depart frequently for University, a landing over on the Giza side of the river. Every second boat continues south to Manial, Rhoda, Giza and Masr al-Qadima (old Cairo).
