There are plenty of taxis available at the airport and the fare to the hotel costs approximately 30€. Buses run from the airport to the city centre around four times per hour and cost approximately 3€. There is also a train station at the terminal and trains run regularly into Brussels and cost around 3-4€ for a ticket. The Gare du Midi train station is 1 kilometre (0.5 miles) from the hotel.
Driving directions: From Brussels Airport follow the road towards the city centre and take the Louise exit. Turn left onto the Rue Hotel Des Monnaies until the Barriere Desaint-Gilles. Turn right onto the Avenue du Parc and after the Place de Rochefort take the second street on the left which leads to the hotel.
Brussels'' modern, efficient public transportation system includes the metro, trams, premetro (trams that go underground for part of their journey) and buses. Roads are usually very busy so cycling is difficult, although there are some marked cycle lanes.
