Berlin-Tegel Airport (TXL): Approximate driving time is 15 minutes and distance is 7 kilometres (4 miles).
Taxis are readily available outside the terminal and cost approximately €15 to the hotel. There is also a jet express airport shuttle serving central Berlin. Alternatively guests can catch the X9 bus towards Zoologischer Garten underground station, where they can change to the 149 bus towards Staaken/Reimerweg. This stops in Schluterstrasse, four minutes from the hotel.
Driving directions: From the airport take the A100 motorway and take exit 12 towards Kurfurstendamm. Take the left turn on the Ku’damm and after three kilometres turn right into Schluterstrasse. The hotel is 20 metres on the right.
Berlin’s integrated public transport system (the BVG) is the best way to get about. One ticket allows travel on all trains, trams, buses and ferries. These tickets can be purchased at reception. There is also a taxi rank 30 metres from the hotel.
