Regional and S-bahn trains connect Schoenefeld airport with Berlin city centre. The train station is approximately 400 meters from the terminal; there is a shuttle bus but it is quicker to walk, unless travellers have a lot of luggage. Taxis are readily available outside the terminal and cost around €25 to the hotel.
Driving directions: From Tegel take Motorway A100 - turn off at Kaiserdamm, follow the directions to city centre (Zentrum). This will lead you onto Kaiserdamm Street. Continue straight on along Bismarckstrasse and Strasse des 17. Juni. 500 m before the Brandenburg Gate turn right into Entlastungsstrasse. After about 300 meters, at the first traffic light, turn left into Bellevuestrasse. Drive straight ahead and turn left into Auguste-Hauschner-Strasse. You will see the Berlin Marriott Hotel on the right hand side of Inge-Beisheim-Platz.
Driving directions: From Schoenefeld: Drive into Schoenefeld on B179, turn onto A100, follow for 7 km, follow signs to B1, at Potsdamer Platz turn left onto Ebertstrasse and left again Hans-von-Buelow-Strasse, the next street left leads you straight to the hotel entrance.
Berlin''s integrated public transport system (the BVG) is the best way to get about. One ticket allows travel on all underground and over ground trains, trams, buses and ferries. The nearest subway station is Potsdamer Platz, 100 metres from the hotel.
