There is a railway station in the terminal’s central hall, under Schiphol Plaza; direct trains run to Amsterdam Centraal Station (600 metres from the hotel) approximately every 15 minutes. Schiphol Travel Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall and the cost to the hotel should be approximately €40.
Driving directions: Driving from the airport, take the A4 to Amsterdam. Head on the A10 West to Zaandam and take exit 102 or 103 for Centrum. Follow direction towards Centrum. At Central Station, turn right to Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. Keep right (Spuistraat) and turn the first street to the right, Kattengat.
Much of Amsterdam can be explored on foot although trams run throughout the city. More adventurous visitors may wish to hire bicycles.
