Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS): Approximate driving time is 20 minutes and distance is 16 kilometres (10 miles).
There is a railway station in the terminal’s central hall, under Schiphol Plaza; direct trains run to Amsterdam Central Station approximately every 15 minutes. Schiphol Travel Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall. Public buses also run regularly to Amsterdam. Alternatively, the hotel operates a shuttle service for a fee.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow the motorway Knooppunt De Nieuwe Meer for about 1 kilometre. Join the motorway E22-A10 to Amsterdam. At sign OSDORP turn right, follow S100 then turn left, and follow Leidseplein for around 200 metres. Follow Kleine Gartmanplantsoen to Korte Leidsedwarsstraat, where the hotel is located.
Much of Amsterdam can be explored on foot although trams run throughout the city. More adventurous visitors may wish to hire bicycles.
